Harwood Hall Hawkes Bay Chardonnay 2016 Apricot peach and melon supported by a subtle layer of lemon with vanilla and toasted oak aromas. This chardonnay is a medium to full-bodied wine with a creamy texture and a dry finish. Grown on a single vineyard in the Hawkes Bay, the fruit for this wine was picked in outstanding condition after an excellent growing season. The grapes were gently pressed to new French oak (40%). A portion was allowed malolactic fermentation and the wine was then matured on lees for 10 months before being bottled.
